We offer our clients a variety of state-of-the-art services including physiotherapy, chiropractic medicine, massage therapy, orthotics, laser therapy, and active rehab. Total Care works with clients who have sustained work injuries, sports injuries, and many other injuries and conditions.
Doctors of Chiropractic Medicine have been through at least four years of graduate school, extensive training, and passed national board exams. They are experts on the human muscular, skeletal and nervous systems. They provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and preventative care for disorders related to these body systems.
Physiotherapists are healthcare professionals who assess, treat, and manage pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and movement disorders. They use science-based medicine and work collaboratively with our other professionals.
Massage therapy is manipulation of the body’s soft tissues to increase circulation of blood and lymphatic fluid, decrease pain and inflammation, and increase flexibility. Our Registered Massage Therapists also treat muscle tension and headaches and are an important part of our team of professionals.
Active Rehab is science-based treatment of muscle injuries and movement disorders using exercise as prescribed by a kinesiologist. Our kinesiologist work closely with the client to come up with an individualized treatment plan to decrease pain and increase range of motion.
Orthotics are custom medical appliances that are designed to align or realign the foot and/or ankle because of injury, trauma, or illness. Orthotics look like insoles for your shoes, but they are actually quite sophisticated and can improve joint function and reduce pain.
We use TheralaseTM cold laser or Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) in our practice. Cold laser doesn’t hurt, and there’s no heat involved. It’s a concentrated light that is absorbed in the soft tissue and helps with healing, reducing inflammation, reducing swelling, and may be used in the treatment of many medical conditions.
