With nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Steve Basra brings a passionate, patient-centered approach to chiropractic care at Total Care Health.
After graduating from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (now Southern California University of Health Sciences) in 2003, Steve established his practice in Surrey with a clear vision: creating a healthcare environment that feels more like family than a clinical transaction.

What began as a single chiropractic office has evolved significantly under Steve’s leadership. In 2012, he expanded the practice into a larger location, transforming it into the multidisciplinary clinic it is today. This growth reflected his vision of comprehensive care where different modalities work together for patient benefit. Despite this evolution, Steve has maintained the practice’s commitment to personal attention—ensuring that even as the clinic expanded, the quality of care and patient experience remained exceptional.
Active Lifestyle and Family Commitment
When not helping patients recover, Steve enjoys an active lifestyle that mirrors his professional passion for movement and function. An avid hockey player, skier, and swimmer, he understands firsthand the importance of maintaining physical activity through all stages of life. Much of his free time is spent supporting his family’s athletic pursuits, particularly at ice rinks watching his son play hockey and soccer fields cheering for his daughter.
